Meet the team

Hi, I’m Mitchel, the owner of Vereen Tax Solutions in Henderson, Nevada. I started this business to help people who feel overwhelmed by taxes, especially musicians, performers, actors, and gig workers whose income rarely fits a simple W2.

Before working in tax, I spent years on stage as a bass player, including time with Disney Cruise Line and in pit orchestras. I understand irregular income, 1099s, and life on the road firsthand. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Music minor from the University of Nevada, Reno, which taught me to approach problems with patience and close attention to detail.

I hold tax preparation and bookkeeping certificates from Intuit Academy, and I am a Quickbooks ProAdvisor. Whether you need your taxes prepared, help with an IRS notice, or bookkeeping that finally makes sense, my goal is the same: explain your options in plain language and guide you through every step.
